I went back and forth as to whether or not I’d do a gift guide this year. I know a lot of people out there are either not spending as much because they are not seeing family or even worse, they are out of work due to covid. Every year I see these ridiculously extravagant guides and I definitely didn’t want to do that. So what I decided to do was put together a list of my most used items in my entire house that would also double as a great gift.
Up first we have stasher bags, they are basically high end reusable silicone ziplocks. They come in many sizes & are perfect for an environmentally focus gift or maybe for someone who wants to stop spending on single use, I haven’t purchased ziplock bags in over 3 years. You can click here to see both Stasher bags and a knock off version.

I take a water bottle everywhere I go! It’s always with me! You just never know when thirst will strike and I refuse to drink water from single use plastics. Thankfully these hydro flasks are currently on sale here!

Okay, not going to lie, this one is a bit more of a splurge. And if I am honest I get it 2-3 times a year, but I try to time it just right so that it is gifted to me for Christmas & my birthday. Tata Harper Clarifying Cleanser. It’s more than I like to spend on normal face wash, but I suffer from monthly cystic acne on my jawline and it does WONDERS for it. So I try to use it the week leading up to my cycle to keep everything from getting out of hand. An added benefit is that Tata Harper is a clean beauty brand…win win!

And since we are on the subject of skin care, if you need something a bit more budget friendly. Consider a Gua Sha facial tool & oil. Gua Sha facials are said to de-puff the face, contour it, help with fine lines and wrinkles and helps to lift the skin/face. You need an oil in order to do it, so the two paired together make a great gift for a skin care enthusiast. This is the tool I use. And here are some oils ranging from $10-30.

The one thing I use almost daily and was a highly under rated gift when I first received it was a robe. I love a long thick cotton robe in the winter, and a lighter one it the hotter months. I couldn’t go without one now, but these too can get expensive. Here is a beautiful one I found on sale with a few color options too.

We all know there is nothing worse than cold feet. Being stuck at home more than ever before means we aren’t wearing shoes around the house, but our toes are cold and our heels aren’t happy about not having some extra cushion. I wear my slipper every day, I wake up, let my dogs out and scoop poop, so they sit by my bedside to slip in and out of. I tend to go for slippers that have hard soles so they last longer. Last but not least, if you have someone on your list that loves to cook, consider an immersion blender. It’s the kitchen utensil I didn’t know I needed. I use it instead of a blender or food processor now. It’s compact, easy to use and best of all. Easy to clean!!! Click here to see this super affordable one, it’s currently on sale, hopefully it stays that way by the time you see this.
